Lots of fun to be had on the famous Tirkandi End of Term Trip!!

For Term 1, 2021 the guys headed down to Canberra for some cultural immersion and lots of fund and games. Some time was spent learning from the incredible members of the Aboriginal community at the Tent Embassy, and the boys got to experience an afternoon with the famous Aboriginal academic and activist, Gordon Briscoe – a man who was the first Aboriginal person to be awarded a PhD from an Australian university, helped in establishing the Aboriginal Medical Service, and in 2004 was awarded the Order of Australia for services to Aboriginal health, legal services and education.

The guys also got to spend some time on the beach at Batemans Bay, took in a movie, shopped for their graduation trainers, and enjoyed some time at the go-kart track. Good food was eaten, lots was learned, and much fun and laughter was shared. Fantastic!!
