We’re always keen to hear from people who are interested in joining the Tirkandi Youth Worker team. The role of a youth worker at Tirkandi Inaburra is by far the most diverse and challenging, but it’s also the most satisfying – making the biggest positive impact on the lives of young Aboriginal males.

We look favorably on applicants who have experience working with high school-aged children (especially of Aboriginal heritage) or hold qualifications relevant to the role. However, neither are essential. More importantly, you’ll demonstrate a willingness to learn and undertake the level of formal study and training required.
